Our No Parent Policy — explained properly

Parents wait outside the teaching room during sessions. Here's why it helps your child, what makes it safe, and the exceptions we always offer.

Why children learn better without an audience

Children behave differently when a parent is watching — they check for reactions, hold back from guessing, and worry about getting things wrong in front of the person they most want to impress. Without an audience, they take more risks, ask more questions, and build genuine independence. Tutors can also give every child their full attention without managing a room of adults.

What makes it safe to step away

Where you can wait

You're welcome to use our on-site waiting area, or pop to one of the cafés a short walk away — sessions last one hour, and we'll call you immediately if your child needs you.

Exceptions — always available when needed

Staying in the loop

Not being in the room doesn't mean being in the dark. You receive a written progress report every month, and a quick word at pick-up whenever there's something worth sharing.
