You're trusting us with the most important person in your life. Here is exactly how we keep every child safe at EasyLearning121 — in plain English, with nothing buried in small print.
Every member of our team holds an Enhanced DBS certificate. Before anyone works with a child, they complete an interview, safeguarding and health & safety training, and a full staff induction — with ongoing training modules after that.
Julie Wallsh is our Designated Safeguarding Lead. Any concern — from a child, parent or staff member — goes to her and is handled following our written safeguarding policy.
During sessions, parents wait outside the teaching room. This helps children focus and build independence — and here's what makes it safe to step away: DBS-checked staff only, a supervised space, and a comfortable waiting area on site — with cafés a short walk away if you'd rather.
Children with additional needs or medical requirements can have a parent present by prior arrangement, and younger or anxious children can have settling-in sessions.
Three members of our team are trained in paediatric first aid. We keep a first-aid kit and accident log on site, follow a written fire evacuation procedure, and hold public liability insurance.
Children use the IXL platform on centre devices under the direct supervision of their mentor at all times. We also operate a strict no-photography policy: children are never photographed at the centre, and their work is never shared publicly.
